Journal Entry: Career Plans

Mr. Nate Dy-Liacco gave us very useful advice for our journey in college and future career choices. He mentioned how our course, Communications Technology & Management gives us so many choices as it covers a vast majority of topics. As he talked about his experiences, and how his plans shifted as time went on, it helped me realize that I too will experience change whether I may like it or not. I must stop having the mindset that is fixated on only one outcome, and start embracing uncertainty and change. His stories did not technically affirm my plans, but that's only because I am still unsure about what I want to do. I did find interest in the career path Mr. Dy-Liacco chose, and I can see myself pursuing something similar. I do see myself continuing my current course because I feel like this is the place that best suits my skills and interests.
